Spanning a 10 km journey that originates near the quaint village of Ustam and winds its way to the picturesque village of Sonal, this section of the Mandovi River is a playground of dynamic water rapids, serene flows, and natural beauty.

Categorized as Class II and III in terms of difficulty, the river's course presents a harmonious blend of moderately challenging rapids interspersed with tranquil stretches, adorned with numerous waves, tight turns, sporadic rocky outcrops, and soothing whirlpools. This diverse water landscape makes Veluz Base Camp an ideal spot for beginners and young adventurers eager to explore the thrilling world of river rafting without being overwhelmed.

For an all-inclusive fee of ₹1500 per adventurer, participants are granted a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to traverse this magnificent route. Each journey is meticulously orchestrated under the supervision of certified guides, ensuring not only a thrilling but a safe and enriching rafting experience. This package cost covers the provision of high-quality rafts, paddles, and all essential rafting gear. Additionally, to celebrate the completion of your river journey, light snacks and refreshing drinks await you at the end of your adventure.

Each rafting expedition is designed to last approximately 1.5 hours, with two sessions conducted daily at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Adventurers are requested to arrive at the starting point 30 minutes before their scheduled rafting time to participate in a comprehensive safety briefing and undergo essential preparatory procedures.

The adventure is open to participants aged 10 years and above (younger children may partake provided they meet the height requirement of over 1.22 meters), with no maximum age limit set. Our rafts are designed to accommodate small groups ranging from 4 to 10 passengers, allowing for a personalized and intimate rafting experience. Participant safety and satisfaction are paramount at Veluz Base Camp; thus, all adventurers must be in good health, weigh no more than 120 kg, and be sober to participate. While swimming skills are not mandatory, we advise wearing sporty attire, sturdy footwear suited for summer, and bringing along a swimsuit, sunscreen, and drinking water for your comfort. To ensure the safety of all our guests, personal electronic devices, cameras, wallets, and jewelry are not permitted on the rafts.
